Just some photos I've taken at different points
Not much to say here. Went on a holiday last year and wanted to share some of the nicer photos I took.
Bendigo is actually quite a nice area. It’s the sort of spot that gives you plenty of opportunities to capture the intersection of nature and the urban.
It's an idea that I'd like to try and capture more intentionally in the future.
I don't really have any opinion on the actual protest itself other than that I can respect it when people actually have conviction behind their beliefs. I will recognise that these photos undeniably view the protestors in relatively positive light. The unfortunate (albeit also unimportant, in my view) truth of photography is that you can never truly take a photo of anything from a "neutral perspective;" a Nobel prize to whoever manages that.
I can only really give a shoutout to two people for my vague interest in trains. One of them a guy named Harry who I went to school with and (at one point) ran an Instagram account dedicated to train photos.
Trains are cool... I don't think that much was ever in doubt.
These photos are quite old at this point. The other person who boosted my interest in trains and also the idea of urban exploration was a friend and the admin of the website sitcomtheory.org.
We also haven't spoken in a while. Sometimes though, something will remind me of their antics, and then I return here.
